In Vietnam, they found a country at the very early stages
of its economic development with all the characteristics of
the Taiwan and Korea economies of 30 years ago. This vast
economic potential led the group to eventually develop four
projects in Vietnam, with an aggregate investment of US$650
million.
Continuously active since 1989, CT&D is one of the largest
single foreign investors in Vietnam. CT&D Group is a privately
owned company which seeks business opportunities that prove
to be beneficial to the host country as well as to the developers
themselves. In 1994, the Asian Wall Street Journal stated
that CT&D Group represents "a sharp break from past
Taiwanese foreign investment". CT&D's vision is to
maximise shareholder value through long-term investment, resourcefulness,
perseverance and professional management.
