Phu My Hung Holdings Group
After conducting careful assessments of investment opportunities in emerging countries in 1989, PMH Holdings Group chose to implement their large-scale development projects in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. 30 years later, PMH Holdings Group foresight and long-term commitment has resulted in the largest, most comprehensive urban expansion of southern Ho Chi Minh City. PMH Holdings Group has successfully created an unique, international standard environment for industrial , technological, commercial, and residential needs. This urban expansion is composed of three complementary projects: Tan Thuan Export Processing Zone, Saigon South New City Center and Hiep Phuoc Power Company. PMH Holdings Group has invested over 750 million US dollars in these three projects so far, and an estimated 100,000 jobs have been directly and indirectly created.
Tan Thuan Corporation
About 1.8 billion US dollars has been invested in the 300-hectare Tan Thuan Export Processing Zone (TTZ). TTZ has created over 65,000 employment opportunities and has generated an annual export revenue over 3.9 billion US dollars.
Saigon South Urban Development Project
The Phu My Hung Corporation commissioned the entire urban plan for Saigon South Master Plan, the award-winning and comprehensive urban plan for Saigon South, to world-renowned Skidmore, Owings & Merrill from San Francisco in collaboration with Koetter, Kim and Associates from Boston, and Kenzo Tange Associates from Japan. This project was approved by both local and central levels of the government, including the Prime Minister's Office.
Hiep Phuoc Power Company
The first phase of Hiep Phuoc Power Plant includes 375 MW oil and natural gas fired thermal powered facility comprising three 125MW units. In 2009, Hiep Phuoc Power Company formally launched the use of natural gas as fuel for power generaiton, significantly improving HCMC's environment.
