	March Complete installation of Hiep Phuoc Power Plant's first generation uniit
	May Saigon South Master Plan received the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Honor Award for Best Urban Design, the first Asian city to ever receive this award
	August School opening of the Saigon South International School
	December Phu My Hung Corporation obtained award from the Prime Minister of Vietnam for their achievement in the construction of the North Nha Be-South Binh Chanh district, contributing to the socio-economic development of the city and the country

	February Nguyen Van Linh Parkway lst phase opened to traffic
